Epoxy resin is a two-component synthetic resin that can be used for many different purposes.
The epoxy is created by mixing two components that are matched to one another.
When the liquid resin is mixed with a suitable hardener, a chemical reaction is set in motion.
The resin is first liquid during processing, then becomes gel-like and later hardens.
Depending on the resin system, this reaction takes shorter or longer, which has advantages in terms of possible applications.
