Remove air bubbles quickly and effectively from epoxy resin
Our gas burner for epoxy resin is the ideal tool for removing surface air bubbles from freshly poured epoxy resin.
When mixing resin and hardener, air can be incorporated into the material. During processing, these air bubbles rise to the surface and may remain visible. The targeted, brief application of heat from our gas burner quickly bursts these bubbles, allowing them to escape from the surface.
The precise turbo flame can be regulated and allows for controlled application on smaller and larger epoxy resin surfaces.
Thanks to its refillable design, the burner can be used again and again and is ideally suited for regular resin and epoxy resin work.

Why use a gas burner with epoxy resin?
Air bubbles are among the most common problems when processing epoxy resin.
They can be caused by, among other things:
- Mixing resin and hardener too quickly
- incorporating air during mixing
- porous materials such as wood
- trapped air in depressions or shapes
After pouring, many of these air bubbles slowly rise to the surface.
Our gas burner allows for brief and controlled heating of the surface. This locally reduces the surface tension of the still-liquid resin, allowing air bubbles near the surface to burst more easily.
This results in a calmer, more even and clearer surface .
Precise turbo flame
The focused flame allows for targeted application and is easier to control than a very wide-radiating heat source.
The integrated gas regulator allows the flame intensity to be adjusted to the specific application.
For epoxy resin, we generally recommend short and controlled heat exposure .
No strong airflow
Another advantage over many hot air devices is the lack of a strong airflow.
Especially with thin coatings, resin art, or colored epoxy resin, an airflow can shift pigments, colors, or the still liquid resin.
Our gas burner heats the surface in a targeted manner without creating a strong airflow over the resin.
Our tip
For the most bubble-free results possible, we also recommend:
- Slowly mix the resin and hardener together.
- Incorporate as little air as possible during mixing.
- Seal porous wood surfaces before the main pour.
- Let the epoxy resin rest briefly after pouring.
- Then remove any surface air bubbles with the gas burner.
The gas burner primarily removes air bubbles on or near the surface .
Air bubbles trapped very deep within the material cannot be reliably removed with this method.
With epoxy resin, it is especially important to note that too much heat can damage the surface or cause the resin to overheat locally.
Turbo gas burner for epoxy resin – refillable & adjustable
After mixing, pour the epoxy resin as usual.
Then wait a short while to allow any trapped air bubbles to rise to the surface.
Turn on the burner and adjust the flame to a low to medium intensity.
Now move the burner quickly and evenly across the surface .
Included:
- Maintain sufficient distance from the resin surface
- Never stay in the same place for an extended period of time.
- Do not hold the flame directly into the resin
Air bubbles near the surface usually burst within a short time.
If further bubbles rise during the processing time, the process can be carefully repeated.
- It's better to perform several short runs.
