If you have little experience, we recommend not processing the maximum amount at once.

If you still want to do this, work at 18°C with a large diameter mixing bucket and take into account a very short processing time!

Important: The higher the room temperature (>21 °C) and the larger the amount of casting, the lower the casting height should be. Epoxy resin reacts faster, especially in summer, which can lead to undesirable results.

With large quantities, such as 30 kg, overreactions can occur despite a reduced layer height. We therefore recommend pouring in two layers or using a resin system for larger layer thicknesses. Note: Temperature, pouring volume and layer height are crucial for best results.

Das Epoxidharz ist jetzt gebrauchsfertig. Tragen Sie die Mischung mit einem Pinsel / Rolle auf oder giessen Sie die Mischung mit einem dünnen Strahl in die gewünschte Form oder das vorbereitete Modell.

Beachten Sie, dass Sie bei grösseren Mengen eine Rührschüssel mit grossem Boden verwenden. Vermeiden Sie eine dicke Schicht in der Rührschüssel, da diese sich sehr schnell erwärmt!

Das Entfernen von Luftblasen funktioniert am besten mit einem Epoxy Entlüfter oder mit einer Flamme. Bitte verwenden Sie keine Flammen, wenn Sie das Epoxidharz mit Alkohol oder anderen brennbaren Produkten verdünnt haben.

Wenn Sie das Harz in mehreren Schichten auftragen möchten (Mehrschichtarbeit):

Wenn Sie eine zweite Schicht einer Flüssigkeit in eine erste Schicht einer Epoxidflüssigkeit giessen, müssen Sie sicherstellen, dass die exotherme Reaktion vollständig abgenutzt ist. Eine exotherme Reaktion ist eine Reaktion, die Energie freisetzt. In diesem Fall Wärme.

If you notice that the resin component is white and flaky, it is crystallized resin.

Epoxy resin crystallization is a physical process caused by external factors such as cold or temperature fluctuations. It is completely reversible and similar to the freezing of water. The main causes are:

1. Temperatures too low : During storage or transport, crystals may form at temperatures below 15 °C.

2. Temperature fluctuations : The formation of crystals is promoted by regular changes between warm and cold.
High resin purity: Epoxy resin with high purity is more prone to crystallization.
3. Low viscosity : Resins with a low viscosity tend to form crystals.

This reaction occurs at extremely low temperatures and can be reversed by a water bath (about 60 minutes/50 °C).
Simply place the sealed resin container in the water bath. Then let the resin cool back to normal room temperature.
