Application:
Stir pigment into clear resin: Add 0.1–5% pigment powder to the epoxy resin or UV resin, depending on the desired color intensity.
Select the background: A dark background is suitable for stronger color effects, while a light background creates a subtle, pearlescent shimmer.
Mix well: Thoroughly stir the pigment powder into the resin using a wooden stick or a mixing spatula until a uniform mixture is achieved.
To avoid air bubbles: Let the mixture stand briefly to allow air bubbles to escape, or carefully degas it with hot air.
Allow the resin to harden: Depending on the type of resin used, cure the mixture either under UV light or for 24 hours at room temperature.

General information:
Interference pigments for coloring epoxy resin
They consist of natural or synthetic mica.
By coating the mica particle (the so-called "substrate") with different minerals, including iron oxides, titanium dioxide, silicon, etc., interference creates a wide variety of colors that differ in opacity and the intensity of their own luster.
They are characterized by the fact that they produce an angle-dependent color impression.
We have a huge selection of colors for your epoxy resin project.
Use them for resin art, epoxy resin tables, etc.
