35-Piece Fine Sanding & Polishing Set, 75 mm Ø – P800 to P5000 for Epoxy Resin & Resin
With the 35-piece sanding and polishing set (75 mm Ø), you can work on small epoxy resin and resin surfaces, from fine sanding through to the final high-gloss polish.
The set includes 30 finely graded sanding discs in six grits ranging from P800 to P5000, a matching 75-mm hook-and-loop backing pad, a clamping shaft, and three polishing attachments for the final polishing step:
Black honeycomb pad → Orange honeycomb pad → White lambswool polishing pad
Thanks to its compact 75-mm diameter, the set is particularly well-suited for smaller workpieces, edges, curves, and detailed work.
Ideal for:
Epoxy resin coasters
Resin art pieces
Jewelry and pendants
Small epoxy resin projects
Wood-epoxy resin combinations
Edges and curves
smaller repair areas
hard-to-reach areas
preparation for a high-gloss finish
6 grits ranging from P800 to P5000
The finely graded grits allow for step-by-step refinement of the surface:
P800 → P1200 → P1500 → P2000 → P3000 → P5000
Each grit size includes 5 sanding discs.
P800
Introduction to fine sanding. Ideal for removing sanding marks from previous, coarser sanding passes.
P1200
Refines the sanding finish and reduces the sanding marks left by P800.
P1500
For a finer intermediate sanding and an increasingly uniform surface.
P2000
Very fine grit for further reduction of visible sanding marks.
P3000
For a particularly fine surface and optimal preparation for the final sanding step.
P5000
The finest grit in the set. Ideal for finishing the fine sanding before the subsequent
polishing.
Then polish in 3 stages
After sanding down to P5000, the epoxy resin surface can be further treated with a suitable polishing compound, medium polish, and finish polish.
For this set, we recommend the following order:
1. Black waffle pad
The black waffle pad is used as the first polishing stage after fine sanding.
It is used to apply the polish and further reduce the finest sanding marks left by P5000.
2. Orange waffle pad
Next, continue polishing with the orange waffle pad.
This second polishing stage further refines the result and prepares the surface for the final finish.
3. White Lambswool Polishing Pad
The white lambswool pad is the final polishing stage.
It is suitable for the finish and helps give the epoxy resin surface a particularly clear and even shine.
Recommended Complete Workflow
P800 → P1200 → P1500 → P2000 → P3000 → P5000 → black honeycomb pad → orange honeycomb pad → lambswool pad
This allows you to work from fine sanding to the finished polished surface using a single set.
Ideal for Epoxy Resin
A 75-mm sanding and polishing system is especially handy for small epoxy resin projects.
The small diameter allows for controlled work on:
small surfaces
edges
curves
epoxy resin coasters
jewelry pieces
resin decorations
small wood-resin projects
The set is therefore ideal for areas where a large 125- or 150-mm sander would be too unwieldy.
From fine sanding to a high gloss
The set combines two important steps:
1. Fine sanding with P800–P5000
and then
2. Polishing with a black honeycomb pad, an orange honeycomb pad, and a lambswool pad
For an exceptionally high gloss, we recommend using a suitable polishing compound for epoxy resin.
Velcro system for quick changes
The sanding discs and polishing pads are attached to the included Ø 75 mm Velcro backing pad.
This allows for quick changes between the different grits and polishing pads.
This is especially convenient when performing multiple sanding and polishing steps in succession.
For drills and cordless screwdrivers
Using the included clamping shaft, the 75-mm backing pad can be attached to a suitable:
cordless drill
drill
or a suitable cordless screwdriver
.
This makes the set particularly suitable for smaller sanding and polishing jobs without necessarily requiring a separate polishing machine.
Also ideal for use after a basic sanding set
The set starts with P800 and is therefore particularly well-suited as a fine-sanding and polishing set following a coarser preliminary sanding.
A complete finishing process might look like this, for example:
Base sanding → P800–P5000 fine sanding → black polishing stage → orange polishing stage → lambswool finish
This allows you to work on epoxy resin projects step by step until you achieve the finished surface.
35-piece fine grinding & polishing set Ø 75 mm
- Allow the epoxy resin to harden completely.
- For larger uneven surfaces, first pre-sand the surface accordingly.
- Start with P800 .
- Treat the surface evenly.
- Completely remove all grinding residue.
- Continue sanding with P1200 .
- Then use P1500, P2000, P3000 and P5000 .
- Clean the surface thoroughly between each grit.
- After P5000, completely remove all grinding residue from the surface.
- Apply a suitable polishing paste.
- First, polish with the black waffle pad .
- Then continue working with the orange waffle pad .
- Finish with the white lambskin polishing pad .
Tip: When sanding and polishing, work without excessive pressure and check the surface regularly.
