Excellent for all types of silicone molding
Silicone is a perfect material for molds because it acts as a natural release agent.
Once cured, the silicone is stretchable and highly durable when working with epoxy resin , concrete, or other casting materials. Our two-component molding silicone, Silimold, is extremely elastic and, with a Shore A hardness of 22, is perfectly suited for creating even complex, reusable molds.
The silicone is characterized by its high elasticity and thin-flowing as well as self-venting
properties, which allows for the creation of detailed and bubble-free impressions.
It's also considered gentle and, above all, non-toxic. The mixing ratio is kept very simple at 1:1, and the components are bicolored for clarity.
RTV-2 silicone has inherent release properties, meaning no additional release agent is required. The silicone is particularly tear-resistant and resistant to temperatures up to 180°C (250°C for short periods).
