Vinnie’s Oil – Natürlicher Holzschutz inspiriert von der Natur
For millennia, Sweden has possessed deep knowledge about wood and its protection – from Viking ships to modern wood processing.
In 2021, four Swedish master carpenters, deep in the Swedish forests, decided to develop the ideal hard wax oil. The market offered either highly toxic products that one wouldn't want to use in one's own home, or treatments that didn't provide the protection and durability we required for our projects.
Our goal was clear: a wood oil that is superior in appearance, protection duration and health – without solvents, without toxins, without yellowing and without annual re-oiling.
We tested everything, compared tirelessly, and developed extremely demanding stress tests – like our "Untrimmed Test," in which wooden boards are scrubbed and rinsed in red wine and coffee for over 30 minutes. We didn't want to create anything "ordinary." We wanted the strongest, non-toxic wood protection system that nature allows.
The result is Vinnie's Oil: a system of natural hard wax oils, inspired by the tree itself. It penetrates deeply, hardening the wood from within, saturating the pores, and forming a hard, natural surface. Complemented by our highly concentrated hard wax or Eternal Seal – the natural "bark" – it creates a unique, natural two-component solution that protects wood as nature intended.
